Deluxe Elven Bow
This bow is handcrafted and hand-painted by Master Bowyer S. Young who has 20 years of experience in the design and crafting of bows. Each Deluxe Elven bow is a one-of-a-kind work of art finished in black and adorned gracefully in gold leafy scroll. The designs may vary slightly from bow to bow - no two are exactly alike.
It is made of the highest quality solid hickory and has a unique recurve design. The ends of the bow are curved through a long and delicate process. In order to create the curved design the ends of the wood are steamed until they bend; then they are split and a wedge of wood is inserted bending the wood even farther. Then the ends are clamped in a press until the wood is dry and the bow is complete.
The unique recurve design enables the bow to shoot straighter (without the archer having to be as accurate), and reduces shock from the string when shooting.
The bow comes with a 1-year warranty and includes a free hand-braided, double looped Flemish bowstring made from artificial sinew.
Bows also include care instructions and basic information brochure.
It is 72" long and has a draw weight of 35 @ 28".
