We received the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Soundtrack and have played it extensively. Loading the CD in your PC will bring you to a menu in which you will receive access to the hidden website. The website is pretty cool and has trailers, interviews, extra cards and some other free stuff like e-mail templates. We could give you the URL, but we are not going to do that! Of course the most important reason for buying the CD is the music. It is a very impressive soundtrack which styles could be compared to Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and Braveheart. The music is pretty diverse and does give a good feeling of Middle-earth. The reviews on Amazon.com say its the best, but in my personal opinion there is simply too little song. The Books are filled with great songs, poems and rhymes and provided enough material to work with. Our conclusion: it's a great soundtrack that will not disappoint but we are still more in love with The Tolkien Ensemble: The Lord of the Rings. The added value of hearing the songs in the books come to live is still greater than any greatly composed soundtrack in our opinion.
